As a Cape Town based Restaurant photographer with over two decades in the food industry, I approach each project with a genuine understanding of how food, space, and service come together to create a memorable experience. My background includes owning and running two of Durban’s busiest cafés, a cakery and catering business, alongside recipe development, menu consulting. That behind-the-scenes knowledge informs the way I shoot—whether it’s capturing the texture of a signature dish, the warmth of a dining room, or the quiet rhythm of a service moment. I aim to reflect what makes each space unique, focusing on details that feel real and intentional. My work is grounded in collaboration, whether with chefs, owners, or creative teams, and always shaped by the mood, tone, and purpose of the venue. From hero dishes to interiors and atmosphere, the goal is to create a visual language that feels true to the space and inviting to the viewer.
